When first consulting with clients, initial ideas and concepts are roughly sketched out. However, should the client require a more detailed body of designs, the initial sketches can be worked up to a higher standard.
Drawings and designs produced at this level will naturally incur a fee due to their specialised nature and the time taken to produce them. Please note that all designs created in house by Sculptzilla remain the intellectual property of Sculptzilla Ltd.
Following an initial consultation and having taken a brief from you for your sculpture(s), we then get to work on the carving. The vast majority of sculptures are hand carved from fire-retardant polystyrene. We carve the sculpture from huge blocks by hand, using a range of tools and techniques.
There are no limitations on size or shape; the sculptures can be as big as your imagination!
After many hours of carving the sculpture by hand, the finished sculpture is then coated in fibreglass or polyurethane resin, which gives the final product a durable, long-lasting finish. The carving is then painted, again by hand, with incredible attention to detail, giving the finished product a look of realistic quality.
We really do pride ourselves on our work, and we’re sure you’ll agree that this hard work results in fantastic detail and a quality finish.
